SAP Note 638258 - SLO: Deleting conversion workbench objects

Component : Landscape Transformation Conversion -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/638258 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
For SAP System Landscape Optimization (SLO) projects requiring the deletion of conversion workbench objects in an R/3 system, it is essential to validate object consistency and consult external auditors prior to deletion, ensuring at least four weeks have elapsed post-conversion. Objects from DMIS 2010 onwards are non-deletable as they come with the DMIS add-on. Deletions mainly affect older pre-DMIS 2010 deliveries or excluded DMIS packages. Deletion is performed in collaboration with SAP employees using a structured program ZCNV_DEINSTALL_CUSTOMER for managing the download, analysis, and deletion tasks. Instructions for using deletion transport and cleanup are detailed, ensuring a rigorous removal process. Use transaction SLG1 for logging details post-deletion.
