Summary :
In SAP transaction MM01, entering a numeric manufacturer part number (MPN) identical to an existing material's internal number causes an error due to a programming issue. This issue is addressed in several industry add-ons including mySAP Discrete Industry, Aerospace & Defense, Engineering & Construction, HiTech, Automotive, and Software solutions. A correction has been developed and will be included in the upcoming HotPackage release. Customers needing earlier resolution can apply advance corrections provided with this note.
