Summary :
When the actual cost component split of the material ledger is activated and BADI GET_DEVCCS is used, initial stock balance entries and goods receipts default to splitting price variances without BADI intervention, reverting to standard system behavior. To resolve this, implementation of SAP Note 627176 is recommended, provided SAP Note 588865 has already been applied. A program correction included with this note should be implemented to ensure proper functionality of the cost component split.
