Component : Account Determination -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/616097 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When posting the goods issue for valuated sales order stock with special stock indicator SOBKZ=E through shipping (movement types 6xx), inconsistencies in account determination arise. The system applies account modifications VAX, VAY, or VKA based on the presence of an account assignment object and the nature of the cost element. VAX is used when there's no account assignment object; VAY is applied when there is an assignment object, turning the account into a cost element; and VKA is designated for sales order account assignment. Understanding these settings in account grouping (GBB) and account modifications are critical for accurate financial reporting. Customizing these settings as per business processes is advisable for consistency.
