Summary :
To address the requirement of disabling the geocoding of business partner addresses, SAP has introduced a solution involving a switch that can globally disable the geocoding and persistence service. Applications consuming this service must adjust to respect the new setting. Implementing this change requires first applying Note 612815, followed by adjustments detailed in the current note. Additionally, modification of the BUP_MEMORY_ADDRESS_SAVE function module is necessary to accommodate the new parameter IV_XGEOCODING_OFF. Absence of Note 612815 or SAP_BASIS Support Package 23 results in continuous geocoding activation. Subsequent challenges should refer to Note 617544.
