Summary :
The SAP Note addresses the performance issues found in the "Test" function of process chains with multiple parallel processes in BW systems. The cause is attributed to an inefficient search algorithm within the process chain management. To rectify this, a new DDIC table type and an interface change are required, which cannot be implemented via SNOTE. As a workaround, users of BW3.0B are advised to deploy Support Package 12 (SAPKW30B12) and users of BW3.1 Content should apply Support Package 6 (SAPKW31006) once available, subsequent to the release of respective descriptive notes.
