SAP Note 602588 - Availability control before budgeting

Component : Budgeting -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/602588 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When creating an order or project without entering a budget or releases, accounting transactions such as purchase requisitions and orders can still be posted against it even if availability control is required but not yet activated. Workarounds include implementing a user exit for activating control without budget, inputting a dummy budget, and later resetting it, or employing a user status profile to block debits until budgeting conditions are met. Specific transactions and customizing actions using SAP system tools (KO22, CJ30, CJBV, OK02) and conditions are delineated to address this oversight effectively.

Key words :
newly created user status profile, future newly created orders, user status profile               restriction, user status profile add, 'wbs element' object category, relevant debit business transactions, fb50no availability control reason, business transaction 'budget release', newly created orders, user status profile
