Summary :
SAP Note provides a solution for long runtimes or terminations that happen with the report RCTXTCPY during a client copy. The underlying issue is a program error. To resolve this, users must manually update the source code of RCTXTCPY in the ABAP editor (SE38 transaction), replacing it with the code provided in the attachment. This update does not support import via Note Assistant (SNOTE) and requires specific developer and object keys, as per Note 86161. The steps include turning off the modification assistant in the editor to facilitate the code replacement.
