The fix involves adjusting entries in table FMUP01, specifically ensuring 'PAYBUDGET' and 'COMBUDGET' remain empty, thus deactivating FM updates for sales orders. Users can also execute ZFM_CHANGE_UPDATE_PROFILE via SE38 to toggle sales order updates in FM. For release EA-PS 500 onward, disabling updates is streamlined through transaction OFUP using the 'Deactivate Update' feature.
