SAP Note 586523 - Customer-defined fields in list editing

Component : List Editing - List Editing

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/586523 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
To ensure the display of customer-specific fields in SAP standard list transactions, user-defined fields must be appended to standard tables using "CI_" includes. Key transaction lists such as IW38, IW39 (Order), IW28, IW29 (Notification), IE05, IE06 (Equipment), and IH06, IL20 (Functional Locations) require extensions in their corresponding output structures like RIHAUFK_LIST, RIHQMEL_LIST, RIHEQUI_LIST, and RIHIFLO_LIST using the respective CI_ includes. Additionally, resetting ALV buffers with BALVBUFDEL might be required. Field conversions may necessitate program modifications, although structure extensions via append structures are not deemed modifications.
