Summary :
In SAP transaction SM50, a blockage is noted in update work processes (in status CPIC or stopped RFC) during processing of the SAPLARFC report. This issue emerges notably with configuration parameters like "maxwait_for_dia_wp = 0" under load conditions and specific software component versions (qRFC 45, Supplement 9). The root cause is synchronous waiting of tRFC calls on RFC request completions, caused when no interactive work processes are available and ARFC_RUN_NOWAIT is executed synchronously. Resolved in higher versions of qRFC (Supplement >10), workarounds include adjustments to asynchronous request processing and work process distribution as interim solutions until patches are applied.
