Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/555162 (SAP Service marketplace login required)
Summary :
Executing asynchronous RFCs with dialog via SAP routers fails due to the target server's inability to establish a GUI data transfer connection. This is caused by the lack of SAP router path information in the asynchronous RFC, which only transmits the host address and TCP service. The issue can occur without routers if hostname resolution is inconsistent across hosts. Resolved in kernel patch levels 1913 for 46D and 1626 for 620, and adjustments are required in the target system setup post patch application. Configurations include setting instance profile parameters and creating specific RFC destinations to facilitate two-way RFC communication.
Key words :
rdisp/use_rfc_dest_lookup instance profile parameter, symptom executing asynchronous rfcs, hosts involved map, sending gui data, r3 client system, terms asynchronous rfc, rfc function calls, direct connection exists, target server sets, calling program reaches
