When using BPS_WB to generate a Web Interface, users may encounter errors such as Message no. OO053 or a short dump GEN_BRANCHOFFSET_LIMIT_REACHED. These issues arise due to excessive components on a page which surpass the ABAP technical limits, causing BSP runtime generation errors. To resolve this, it is recommended to reduce the number of components per page. For earlier versions (up to SEM BPS 3.5) or old design layouts, divide complex pages into simpler ones and facilitate navigation between them. For designs post SAP_BW 3.5 SP04, distribute components across multiple tab pages to minimize page size and avoid exceeding limits.
