Summary :
UPDATE or DELETE operations involving subqueries in the WHERE condition cause dumps in different SAP Basis Releases due to activated table logging. This issue impacts Basis Release 4.6D or earlier with core dumps, and ABAP(DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_REQUEST) dumps in Basis 6.10 and 6.20. The cause is identified as a programming error in the SAP kernel. For release 4.6D, the issue is addressed in kernel support package level 1127. For Basis 6.20, correction is available in support package 87, also applicable to 6.10. Users of 4.5x should modify Open SQL to exclude subqueries from WHERE conditions.
