Summary :
In SAP releases prior to 4.0A, company codes must assign all plants to the company code's country for proper taxation and INTRASTAT processing. Only one country's tax procedures and trade statistics processing are supported per company code. Starting from Release 4.0A, the functionality to handle "Plants abroad" is introduced, allowing plants in different countries to be linked to a single company code while properly supporting tax and trade statistics for multiple countries. This feature is accessible through the configured path in Financial Accounting settings.
