Summary :
As of Web AS 6.20/SAPGUI for Windows 6.20, SAPHTTP supports SSL connections. Users must verify their SAPHTTP version, which should be '@(#) $Id: //bas/620/src/krn/ftp/http.c#4 $ SAP' for version 6.20. The latest SAPHTTP version can be downloaded from the SAP Service Marketplace (see Note 164203). SAPHTTP requires the SAP Cryptographic Library (SAPCRYPTOLIB) for SSL, detailed in Note 397175. The Personal Security Environments (PSEs), especially SAPSSLC.pse for SSL clients, must be configured using the sapgenpse program or managed through transaction STRUST for Web AS 6.10 onwards. Administration includes creating and managing certificates through sapgenpse, with potential self-signing or CA submission for certification.
