Summary :
In SAP Transaction ME21N for generating purchase orders, the system traditionally sources the tax jurisdiction code from multiple hierarchies like reference items, quotations, contracts, plants, and account assignment objects, subsequently overwriting preceding values based on this sequence. A critical need has been identified for considering the delivery address for determining the tax jurisdiction, which was previously unaddressed. As of Release 46B, SAP introduces a new capability in ME21N where the tax jurisdiction code from the delivery address is included for tax calculations, utilizing the Business Add-In ME_TAX_FROM_ADDRESS. This enhancement is applicable via Support Package only, and referencing of Note 537827 is imperative.
