SAP Note 490865 - Creating inbound deliveries from replenishment delivery

Component : Anlieferung -

Summary :
In SAP environments with intra-company code or cross-company code operations, issues may arise during the integrated stock transport order (STO) process, specifically with UB/NL and NB/NLCC scenarios, from Release 4.0A onwards. The problem surfaces when the system, utilizing transaction modes MB0A, MB01, or MIGO, inadvertently generates an inbound delivery instead of a direct material document for goods receipts (GR) in handling unit (HU) managed storage locations as of Release 4.5. This automatic creation of inbound deliveries affects all simultaneous postings, regardless of specific conditions per item. The underlying issue stems from a lack of officially defined goods receipt processes for inbound deliveries within this context, lacking corresponding documentation and support, leading to potential discrepancies and the need for manual adjustments in handling entities, sales configurations, and inventory management settings. This note guides through workaround settings and program modifications from Release 4.7 to address these issues, ensuring accurate handling and documentation flow.
