Summary :
This SAP Note discusses issues arising from transporting coding masks into clients with pre-existing projects and copying projects into clients with existing coding masks. Such scenarios lead to inconsistencies in project and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) numbers due to unmodified external numbers in the database. This can result in system errors including the inability to locate projects and WBS elements or trigger online dumps (e.g., CONQT_NO_NUMBER error). Two solutions are proposed: 1) Deleting problematic coding masks, running the ZZADJUSTTCJED report, and renaming projects and WBS elements. 2) Running the ZZADJUSTPOSID report, which aims to resolve number inconsistencies through a comprehensive parameter set which must not perform database changes in test mode and requires careful execution in production mode to avoid system lockup.
Key words :
create attached report zzadjusttcjed, create attached report zzadjustposid, field stays initial, required number manually, number consistent automatically, online dumps occurs, longer find projects, standards wbs element, consistent numbers automatically, correct numbers automatically
