Summary :
If an inspection lot is created automatically using movement type 349, the quantity is moved to inspection stock as per the movement type specifications. However, the inspection lot's 'Quantities in inspection stock' indicator is not set. This issue is observed in SAP Release 3.0 when the material master does not define posting to inspection stock for inspection type with origin 08. The correction includes implementing source code modifications in MM07MQSS. For existing lots where no stock postings were made, use transaction QA02 to adjust the 'QALS-INSMK' field from empty to 'X' after invoking debugging mode. Ensure similar steps for lots with posted quantities as per related notes.
