Summary :
This SAP Note clarifies the use of the SAP_END_OF_JOB event in R/3 systems. Originally, this event, activated when a job is executed after a specified job XYZ, was functional in Basis releases until approximately 2007. Post-2007, the function BP_EVENT_RAISE can trigger the RAISE_FAILED exception when attempting to use this event. Usage in Basis versions lower than 7.00 remains feasible. This note specifies that SAP_END_OF_JOB is exclusively a system event and not intended for customer modification or use outside predefined parameters.
