Summary :
SAP systems are unable to receive Internet Mail messages through the SAP Internet Mail gateway, as indicated by several syslog entries (“S23 Connection to CPI-C client... was closed”) and a dev_rd trace file showing a network read error (RC 223). Send mail logs reveal process terminations (“451 mailer... died with signal 13”). The issue is due to a program error in the SAP Internet Mail Gateway, which is resolved in Version 4.6D2 (refer to SAP Note 101573).
