Summary :
When creating a purchase order in SAP using Transaction ME21N, and subsequent verification using ME22N, the system displays error message ME366 if mandatory partner roles are missing, despite changing the document type which has no partner schema assigned in Customizing. This is because the originally maintained partners for the entered document type persist post-change. The advance corrections attached to this note must be implemented to adjust partner roles appropriately for changed document types, noting that due to system limitations, partner roles aren’t automatically adjusted in ME22N. Refer also to SAP Note 308215 for more details.
