Summary :
SAP Note identifies an issue where a delivery can be deleted even after a billing document is created for it, potentially leading to inconsistencies in document flow and record tracking. This occurs because deleting the delivery also removes related document flow records, thus disconnecting the relationships between the sales, billing, and cancellation documents. While no solution exists in the standard system up to release 4.5B, a workaround prevents the deletion under certain conditions, and for releases 4.6B and higher, corrective notes are available to address the issue. The impacts on existing document flows and recovery options are also discussed in the note.
