Summary :
When posting a goods receipt for an inbound delivery in SAP, such as using transactions VL32 or VL32N, users might observe that the goods movement status reaches 'Closed (C)'. This issue is linked to items within the inbound delivery having a 'Confirmation of service' entry in the document flow, which prevents normal posting in Inventory Management, thus no material document is created. This problem may arise due to unassigned movement types, altered purchase order settings in Customizing (reflected by WEZUO status), application-based settings such as NOWAB, or because the items are special types like batch, text, or BOM. To troubleshoot, users need to inspect 'Movement Type' and 'No Goods Movement' indicators in the 'Administration' item detail screen via transaction VL32N and reverse any incorrect postings through transaction VL09. SAP Note 199703 offers further insights on canceling such goods receipt postings.
