Summary :
During an ATP check in backorder processing of subitems in sales orders, characteristic values assigned newly are not transferred to the R/3 system due to a programming error. Correction entails implementing modifications through SE37 by adding table parameters to the interface of ATP_CONFIRMATION_DATA_SET and adjusting reference structures up to Release 4.6B. Additional modifications include adding a field to ATPCS_RET structure via Transaction SE11, and applying attached source code changes. SAP Note 323703 is a prerequisite for these corrections.
