Summary :
In SAP, the non-allocated make-to-stock production that uses requirement type LSF processes oldest requirements first for reductions. Reductions occur until the date of the withdrawal posting. If excess requirements remain post this date, reduction against future independent requirements is possible only if pre-configured in T438M or the MRP screen of the material master (field -VINT2-). The material master setting overrides T438M configurations. Additionally, a bug may lead to unintended future reductions; this is addressed in note 79636. Since release 30E, an alternative reduction logic considering consumption mode is available as per note 71804.
