Summary :
This SAP Note addresses problems with error messages KI248, KI178, and KI166, which occur when an account with a revenue cost element assigns postings to only a cost center without additional CO objects. Despite configuration in transaction OKB9 intended to default account assignments for specific G/L accounts, the system fails to leverage these default settings when a cost center is present in the line items. To resolve this issue in Release 4.6C and later, users must enable the GC_OKB9_REV_CTR flag in SAPLKAIP, prompting the system to apply the OKB9 default assignment (order or profitability segment) directly, while existing cost centers are posted statistically. Earlier releases necessitate using the correction described in SAP Note 105024.
