SAP Note 370487 - Info: Distributn header conditions w/ calculation type 'B'

Component : Pricing - Freight Cost Calculation

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/370487 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In an SAP environment, a header condition using calculation type 'B' may incorrectly allocate amounts among document items if all condition bases of individual items are zero. This happens because the default distribution key uses a quotient of the current item's condition basis and the total of all items' condition bases, where the denominator can be zero, leading to a division error. Instead, the system then distributes the entire amount to the item with the highest value or, if values are identical, by defaults prior to Release 4.0A. To avoid this, a user-defined condition base formula can be specified for distribution using transaction VOFM, stored in the pricing procedure for relevant conditions.
