When using extended withholding tax in transactions FB60, FB70, and MIRO, no warning messages are generated if a vendor or customer is subject to withholding tax, due to previous versions of SAP focusing on usability over warning prompts. Implementing the provided corrections will restore messages indicating a vendor or customer’s withholding tax status during these transactions. Additionally, configuration in SE91, and adjusting user-specific settings through SM30 (views V_T100SA, T100S, and V_T100C) are necessary. Further enhancements include the addition of source code in function module FI_WT_INITIALIZATION for complete resolution.
