Summary :
When executing WIP calculations for actual orders' costs in SAP, the system might incorrectly calculate reserves for unrealized costs (categories RFKA, RFKN, RFKW) when the order holds a negative balance. Typically such an issue arises when the credits from goods receipt exceed debits from stock usage. To avoid this and ensure the system accounts for negative WIP, adjustments must be made in the Customizing settings for valuation methods under results analysis. Users should navigate to Transaction OKG3, and modify the Results Analysis Key settings by inputing 'B' in the 'Special funct.' field for statuses 'REL' and, if applicable, 'PREL'.
