SAP Note 357877 - Easy Access: Removing duplicate transactions

Component : Session Manager -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/357877 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When redundancy avoidance is enabled in the SAP Easy Access menu, identical transactions like FB02 can be inadvertently omitted from multiple activity groups or roles where they are applicable, causing potential workflow disruptions. This issue arises because the system tries to avoid duplication in user menus. The solution involves utilizing the DELETE_DOUBLE_TCODES switch in the SSM_CUST table, which can be set to 'YES' or 'NO' to control the deletion of these transactions. Effectiveness of this switch also relates to whether Note 1246860 is implemented, influencing whether DELETE_DOUBLE_TCODES acts independently of the CONDENSE_MENU switch. Setting the switch properly ensures that the necessary transactions appear in all relevant user menus without unwanted omission.
