Summary :
This SAP Note discusses discrepancies in quantity updates in CO line items and/or totals. The problem is linked to the control record (COK, in Table COKA), which determines quantity transfer based on fiscal year, cost element, and object. When a primary cost element incurs its first posting in a fiscal year, a COKA record is established, dictating unit measures for the entire year, untouched by subsequent unit measure changes in the cost master. Quantities are updated in line items (COEP) and converted for total records, depending on their adherence to the COKA-defined unit. Failures to convert result in the "Quantity Incomplete" indicator, signaling an entry unaccounted for in totals.
Key words :
'logistics -> materials management -> material master -> material -> create, account-based profitability analysis, object / cost element pair, cost element master record, service management orders, 'material origin' indicator, apparently udated incorrectly, active origin indicator, cost element master, primary cost elements
