SAP Note 351451 - Sales order BOM in project stock

Component : Bill of Material Transfer - Material Requirements Planning

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/351451 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When dealing with sales orders and project controlling involving valuated project stock, the system incorrectly inherits BOM determination from either the work breakdown structure or material BOM instead of the specific sales order BOM. This issue limits the simultaneous use of configurable BOMs and valuated individual stock. To resolve this, assign the sales order BOM items using transaction CN33, ensuring the system retains the link between the network component and the sales order item during MRP processes and across production or purchasing workflows. Planned enhancements and schema adjustments in ABAP Dictionary and function modules are required for accuracy in stock assignment and BOM determination.

Key words :
country-specific sap user groups, valid sales order bom exists, individual multi-level requirements planning, assigned wbs element level, work breakdown structure bom, sap standard program corrections, sales order item remains -, valuated project stock inherit, relevant sales order bom, valuated individual stock
