Summary :
In certain scenarios where operations or components are deleted in PM/PP orders or networks, the deletion indicator for external operations and material purchase requisitions may not be set. This issue leaves orphaned purchase requisitions without necessary links. Identified through transactions like IW31, IW32, and IW38, the problem is caused by a program error. According to SAP Note 397290, a correction report has been integrated and will be updated through subsequent notes. This rectifies the program fault, ensuring the deletion indicator behaves as expected post-deletion in orders.
