Summary :
In SAP's Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), issues have arisen with the derivation of customer hierarchy characteristics. Problems include incorrect or absent hierarchy level derivations and non-recognition of hierarchy updates in CO-PA following adjustments in SD. These derive from configuration in the operating concern and CO-PA customizing related to character derivation settings. To resolve, validate customer hierarchies in SD, ensuring hierarchy assignments are maintained and active. Changes are effective upon confirmation in SD master data. Further, ensure appropriate settings in customer hierarchy fields and screen layout customizations for accurate hierarchic data transfer to CO-PA.
