Summary :
Since the release of SAP 4.6B, changes have been implemented regarding the use of selection variants in transactions such as ME5A, ME58, ME55, among others. Users can now store and automatically retrieve personal selection variants for each transaction, enhancing operational efficiency. In cases where the standard variant SAP&STANDARD is not available or not displayed, the solution involves running the RSVARIDVARIS report in client 000 to restore the standard variant. Additionally, it is important to note that for transactions like ME80AN, ME80FN, ME80RN, and ME81N, a specific standard variant is applicable different from SAP&STANDARD. This note also provides guidance on using the correct reporting and variant settings for specific transactions.
