SAP Note 316720 - Settlement inv.measure: amount rule for final settlement

Component : Investment Orders - Period-end Closing

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/316720 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When settling an investment measure (order / WBS element) or an independent AuC, issues such as increased negative acquisition value of AuC or system error KD570 indicating incorrect settlement sign may arise. This occurs when the settled amount's sign does not match the sign in the settlement rule (e.g., settling a -1000 EUR line item with a +1000 EUR rule). Solution involves adjusting the settlement rule to match the amount's sign. For SAP Release 4.6C and prior, system behavior and error messages need corrections via software updates and table entries in T100 and T100S using SM31. Always verify if further justified errors (like AA617) are triggered post-settlement. Post implementation of Notes 412869, 432376, and 613575, ensure correct alignment of settlement amounts with AuC values to avoid discrepancies.
