SAP Note 3085 - Unwanted empty pages between the printouts

Component : Geräteverwaltung -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/3085 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When using SAP R/3, empty pages may print after each document due to the operating system adding an extra formfeed in the UNIX output queue or upon processing by PC LAN network systems. To resolve, verify whether SAP or external systems generate these pages. If external, print a minimal file from the OS using R/3's method. If the issue persists, modify the respective reset commands at the device or adjust the host spooler policies. For AIX, modify the "_Z" attribute to prevent extra formfeeds through SMIT settings. However, no known fix exists for systems like Novell, where adherence to standards is crucial.
