Summary :
The SAP enhancement COOMKPT4, originally designed for cost centers, can now be extended to other copy transactions with provided program corrections. Users seeking to modify data during transactions such as KO15 or CJ9C can implement these corrections to utilize COOMKPT4. It is critical, however, that enhancements used in Cost Center Accounting are adapted for consistency across additional transactions. While changes to value types like converting actual cost to settlement elements are permissible, modifications to data record types are restricted. Errors such as unsupported cost elements in secondary cost planning can thus be circumvented by altering cost types in user exits.
