Summary :
In response to the update termination errors "BS703: STATUS_INCONSISTENT" and "RAISE EXCEPTION: STATUS_INCONSISTENT", occurring after changes in objects using general status management in SAP, investigations revealed inconsistencies between table entries JEST and JCDS or JSTO and JCDO. These inconsistencies arose from program corrections in earlier SAP releases. For resolution, SAP recommends running correction reports RBSVREP_JEST_JCDS and RBSVREP_JSTO_JCDO from Release 5.0 onward and manually adjusting reports in earlier versions. Additionally, ensure proper sequencing in concurrent executions, maintain default package sizes, and consider testing updates in the system before full implementation to prevent production downtime.
