Summary :
SAP Note addresses the behavior where purchase order schedule lines often lead to multiple deliveries due to differing delivery dates. To consolidate all schedule lines into a single delivery item, a modification is advised exclusively for transaction VL04. Implementing Note 139346 modifies the source code to group all schedule lines into one delivery item using the last line's delivery date, thereafter adjusting shipment scheduling. Also, by standardizing submitted delivery dates during delivery creation, unwanted splits caused by variable requested delivery dates can be minimized, using either the current date or a specific selection date from VL04 for uniformity.
