Summary :
After converting to a multi-tenant database system in SAP HANA SPS9, the XS Engine service for new tenants becomes unreachable. The issue is due to an incorrect HTTP port configuration by the internal port 3nn07 in the XS Engine. Immediate workarounds include enabling the embedded XS Engine on the indexserver or adding a new standalone XS Engine service for the tenant. Additionally, reconfiguration of the webdispatcher is required to route to the correct XS Engine. A permanent fix will be implemented in the next service pack, SAP HANA SPS10.
