SAP Note 2111539 - Delete DDL sources: Generated codes not deleted completely during transport

Component : ABAP Dictionary -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2111539 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues encountered after a deletion transport of a DDL source, where parts or the entirety of the generated code might persist in the system. The remnants include artifacts from view entities and SQL views, potentially causing activation errors for dependent objects. This problem is prevalent in SAP Basis 7.40 SP10 for specific DDL sources and is due to incorrect version handling in the deletion program. To resolve, users should apply correction instructions in both export and target systems, recreate and delete the DDL source again if necessary, ensuring the consistency of names in both creation and deletion phases.
