Summary :
SAP environments with a large number of audit files in the directory "/oracle//rdbms/audit" experience this due to the behavior initialized in version 2.2C where SAPDB1234 logs onto the database using the 'internal' account for testing, creating an audit trail. These logs, named as ora_.aud, can't be disabled due to Oracle's security configuration that mandates audit logging. For management of these files, users of SAPDBA version 2.2E and above have capabilities to delete these audit files. Prior versions require manual file management, possibly with automated scripts like cron jobs.Key words :
/oracle/<sid>/rdbms/audit, audit file ora_<processid>, standard oracle security feature, additional key words, prerequisites starting, sapdba logs, test purposes, 2e onwards
