SAP Note 201162 - Questions concerning integrated planning

Component : Planning -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/201162 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In SAP environments using FI-GL, FI-SL, and EC-PCA from Release 4.0 onwards, the indicator RWINKZ enables integrated planning across components. This functionality allows plan line items from controlling objects like cost centers and projects to be transferred to other applications via a dedicated interface, similar to actual postings (FI-SL only transfers true postings). Integration mandates active line item updates to ensure correct follow-up posting if planning data transfers are incorrect. Historical settings such as EPSKZ and ANFBESTAND need identical configuration with RWINKZ for consistent system behavior. Orders or projects require both the PLICC and PLINT indicators set for integration, impacting features such as settlement and cost planning. Non-integrated orders cannot interact with Profit Center Accounting or special ledgers and are excluded from certain planning functions. Detailed guidance is given in the online SAP library and transaction help in KP96.
