Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues in calculating requirement dates for components in subcontract orders and scheduling agreements. Key issues detailed include variance in the calculation based on how schedule lines are created (manually or via MRP), inappropriate setting of requirement dates when backward scheduling leads to past dates, and discrepancies during the conversion of Purchase Requisitions (PReq) to Purchase Orders (POs). The solution updates the calculation logic to standardize date calculations across manual and MRP-generated entries, aided by a new function module ME_COMP_REQUIREMENT_DATE and other program changes effective from Release 3.0D onwards.
