Summary :
When upgrading to a new SAP R/3 source release, users are required to input an additional password during the KEY_CHK phase for verifying installed add-ons. This requirement is for systems installed as ready-to-run and having at least one SAP R/3 Add-on pre-installed. Upgrades need to be compatible and released for all components present. For the release verification of any SAP R/3 additional product, and obtaining necessary passwords for upgrades, refer to associated SAP Notes if specified, ensure all component upgrades are compatible. If not released, the upgrade process must be halted.
