SAP Note 19251 - Old transport requests are imported again

Component : Change and Transport System -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/19251 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When initiating the command "tp import all U1" to import many transport requests, the process inadvertently repeats imports for requests previously imported successfully. The "tp showbuffer " command fails to show these already imported requests because they are flagged as fully imported within the system. The behavior is not an error but a feature of the unconditional mode 1, designed to allow repeated imports under certain circumstances. It is recommended to avoid using unconditional mode 1 except in specific cases, as it bypasses standard Correction of Transport System protocols. Since SAP Release 2.2B, using unconditional modes is generally unnecessary, including for client transports.

Key words :
successfully imported transport requests, tp showbuffer <sid>, additional key words, unconditional modes disable, imported successfully, transport requests, unconditional modes, completely imported, transport system, unconditional mode 1
