Summary :
For SAP BW systems where DataStore objects include the characteristic 0LOGSYS, renaming logical systems via transaction BDLS can be significantly delayed due to large data volumes. This note introduces the RSO_0LOGSYS_DYNAMIC program as an alternative to physically converting data tables. This program dissociates the InfoObject 0LOGSYS from the LOGSYS domain facilitating faster transaction BDLS execution by applying logical mapping rather than data replication. Ensure compatibility with transformations using specified routines and manually maintain the new RSOLOGSYSMAP table for consistent system name mapping.
